Despite an excellent game against Randoms FC, the Chicago Gold Stars held at 0-0 on Saturday, April 16th. According to Santina Croniser, “Of all the teams I’ve managed, this was the best we’ve played to date. I’m really proud of how far we’ve come as a club.” Co-Manager Nicole Bashor expanded on the topic, stating that “The defense played extremely well, and were a big reason why the other team didn’t score. I think that [Randoms FC] is a combination of the top two women’s indoor soccer teams from last session, so they’re probably the best team out here. The fact that we held them really says something.”
